The Medical Massage Lady

I have been a qualified massage therapist since 1997 but have also enjoyed a career as a surgical nurse and then a midwife since then. I have a wide knowledge base and experience in general surgery, gynaecology, orthopaedics, cosmetic surgery,ear, nose and throat and endoscopy, and I started as a recovery nurse in main theatres. I then went on to become a midwife working on a high risk labour suite and running Active Birth workshops, but also have experience of the foetal assessment unit, special care baby unit, and of course antenatal and postnatal wards. I then came out of my medical career to care for a disabled child and over the course of 9 years I carried out daily physiotherapy, and volunteered at sports and wheelchair camps for physically disabled children, with a special interest in cerebral palsy. I then returned to massage full time, undertook my sports training and I now combine all of my knowledge and experience to provide a comprehensive service. I am also a qualified aromatherapist, producing my own products, and a massage training provider. I have additional roles as a trauma practitioner, oncology and lymphatics practitioner, reiki therapist, hypnotherapist and transformation coach. I also write articles as a Senior executive Contributor for an international magazine.

I offer swedish, deep tissue, sports, aromatherapy, colon, pregnancy, induction, scalp acupressure, Indian head massage, oncology massage, trauma massage, manual lymphatic drainage, Brazilian lymphatic contouring massage, trigger point therapy, IASTM and medical massage. I specialise in pregnancy, women's health, oncology and children with cerebral palsy. However I am also trauma informed, through personal and professional experience, and I also work alongside various charities in my local area to provide trauma massages for those who have fled domestic abuse or been sexually assaulted in the last 6 months.

Since November 2021, I have received 23 awards including 2 national. I am also up for another 6 in 2025, 2 of which are national. In January 2025 I also became the recipient of a Global Recognition Award for exceptional services and innovation in holistic therapy. I was also named as one of the top inspirational business women in my county last year.
